Firewire Stack on Fedora 7

For those like me trying to use a FireWire device on Fedora 7 and finding it broken - you'll want to follow this bug report.

Looks like there is an actual fix on the way - and a temporary fix offered (using the old FireWire stack) by another user. I haven't tried the alternate fix yet... I think I'll wait for the true fix; however I should note that FireWire seems to be working on one of my machines w/ Fedora 7 but not the other - so your milage may vary
